You’ll lead strategic campaigns, foster audience connections, and bring creative ideas to life in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Media Specialist, you’ll play a hands-on role in producing high-quality video and photo content that brings the Mayhem Athlete brand to life. From daily training sessions and behind-the-scenes footage to athlete profiles and digital campaigns — you’ll help shape how the world sees Mayhem.

This is an incredible opportunity to work with elite athletes, coaches, and creators in one of the most dynamic environments in the fitness space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture and edit video/photo content of daily workouts, training highlights, and athlete moments across the Mayhem ecosystem.
• Support the production of media for social channels, product launches, events, partnerships, and in-app content.
• Edit footage into compelling short- and long-form content that aligns with Mayhem’s visual style and brand voice.
• Assist in planning, shooting, and producing on-site content with athletes, coaches, and the creative team.
• Organize and maintain digital asset libraries (video files, RAW photos, b-roll, etc.).
• Stay on top of trends in fitness media, sports storytelling, and platform-specific content strategies.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom (After Effects is a plus).
• Experience operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras, basic lighting, and audio gear.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, composition, and editing flow.
• A solid portfolio of video/photo work — personal projects, school projects, or social content are all welcome.
• Passion for fitness and the functional training space — CrossFit® knowledge is a plus.
• A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty in the gym.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mentality.

Bonus Points For:

• Familiarity with Mayhem Athlete programming, culture, and community.
• Livestream or multi-cam editing experience.
• Experience with motion graphics
• Past experience filming fitness or sports content.
